The Goa Express

The Goa Express hail from Burnley and Todmorden.

Their debut single is a labour of love with a bright yellow picture sleeve painstakingly cut, folded, glued & printed in house – see how we did it here.

It has a raw psyche/garage feel.

It came out as an official Record Store Day release in 2016 – just 500 numbered copies. The band played live in Astonishing Sounds record shop in Burnley on the release day, signing records, followed by an evening gig at The Town Mouse, Burnley.

The video was recorded in the back room at Eli Records + at wonderful Golden Lion in Todmorden. The skate board scenes filmed just at the bottom of the street – watch it here. (unfortunately, The band and Rough Trade Management saw fit to get the video removed from YouTube in a very underhand way – more details in the description here.)

They are going from strength to strength, with further singles under their belt, recording at Abbey Road, a BBC6 radio session and airplay and a signing to Rough Trade management.
